Organizational Software Web Site

Summary: This web site is the corporate web site for a small part-time software company named Organizational Software, Inc. I co-founded the company years ago with a friend who had the idea for the software. Even though I was a co-founder, my true role was simply to help my friend, who had no experience with the software industry or with starting businesses. Knowing a great deal about business organization, I formed the company and helped with its development. While the business is no longer in operation, I took great pride in designing a web site that generated positive feedback from many users.

Production: I used FrontPage to create the web site and customized most pages directly with HTML and JavaScript. The original web site used certain server components to automate features on the live web site. Since this sample is no longer on the production server, I had to change some portions of the HTML for it to work correctly.

Authorship: I designed and developed the entire web site and wrote all of its content, with the exception of the article titled Creating Volunteer Job Preferences for Campaigns Using VolWare. While I did not write this article, I was the primary editor and significantly revised the document from its original content.

Audience: The web site's audience includes nonprofit groups and political campaigns who might need volunteer and donor tracking software to help manage their operations. Most of the audience have limited technical skills but know the basics of web site navigation.
