The Electric Meter Details page allows you to specify your current meter reading and base value for your meter. This information is necessary so that the Consumer Portal can calibrate the Meter Reader to your meter and then process the information reported through the Meter Reader.

What does the meter information mean?

• Current Reading: This is the actual reading from your meter. When you enter your meter information, enter only the integers to the left of the decimal; do not enter the decimal values to the right of the decimal.
• Base Value: This is the information printed on the meter to identify the number of revolutions (for a spinning disk meter) or flashes (for an LED meter) per kilowatt hour.
