Home Forecast vs. Goal Report

The Forecast vs. Goal report allows you to set your energy use goals and then track your progress towards those goals. The report shows you where you are now and where you will be at the end of the selected time frame. Information from your previous energy consumption is used to predict your future usage. The report allows you to view your energy use projection from the current month or entire year.

To change the energy type and report time frame:

  1. In the Type box at the top of the page, select the type of energy you would like to view (electricity or gas).
  2. In the Time Period box, select month or year.
  3. The report refreshes with the selected time period. If you select month, the bars on the chart reflect each day of the current month. If you select year, the bars reflect each of the upcoming 12 months (starting with the current month).

To set or update your budget goal:

  1. Obtain your latest energy bill or other statement where you can find your total energy use for the previous year.
