Home Select Master Switch Page

The Select Master Switch page allows you to specify the master switch for a smart switch Smart Control type. The master switch is the device that, when powered on or off, automatically powers on or off the rooms, device types, and specific devices being controlled by the Smart Control you are creating or editing.

To select the master switch for your Smart Control:

1. In the panel on the right side, click the Rooms, Type, or All tab to access the available devices that you can use for the master switch. If you select the Rooms or Type tab, you can also click through the carousel that shows room names and device types below the tab.
2. From the available devices under the Rooms, Type, or All tab, click to select the device you want to use as your master switch, and then click the Add item button. Alternatively, you can drag the selected device to the panel on the left side.
3. The panel on the left side shows the device you selected as the master switch. If you need to change this device, select it in the left panel and then click the Remove item button (or drag it back to the right panel).
