Geneva Help

Company: WebVisible See in résumé

Summary: Geneva Help was deployed with a SaaS application that allowed users to create and manage pay-per-click advertising campaigns across ad networks such as Google and Yahoo!. The entire documentation set existed on a much larger scale and required that I single source content to create both help systems and user guides for several types of users.

Production: I used RoboHelp as the help authoring tool to create the help system. The original help system was based on an older version of RoboHelp's WebHelp platform. To ensure better compatibility with modern browsers, this sample is based on RoboHelp's HTML5 help output.

Authorship: I was the only writer working for the company, and I had to create all documentation from scratch.

Audience: The help system's audience included different types of users who ranged from sales reps entering order information to administrators managing and tuning campaign performance. Four versions of the help existed for four types of users. The help system's audience for this particular sample included users who entered customer orders and created and managed the actual ad campaign and content.
