Contracts
A contract defines the terms of a campaign and the product being offered under that campaign. When you define a contract in Geneva, you must specify your reseller product being offered under that contract. A reseller product is a product a reseller offers that consists of one or more WebVisible products. Resellers may have many different types of reseller products, all based on different variations and combinations of WebVisible products. For example, you might have several different reseller products that are based on Guaranteed Clicks, each offering a different number of clicks. Or you might have a reseller product that is based on a combination of Guaranteed Clicks and Landing Pages. The reseller products that are available under a contract are typically set up in advance so that they are already available when you are creating a contract for an advertiser.
In addition to the reseller product, a contract also requires logistical information about the product being offered. This additional information includes:
-
Dates that the product starts and stops
-
Number of clicks that are provided under the contract (for Guaranteed Clicks)
-
Total budget available for advertising (for Guaranteed Budget)
-
Telephone number information (for Reverse Proxy and Call Tracking)
-
Number of landing pages allowed (for Landing Pages), which is currently fixed at 1 for all contracts
