Editorial Groups
An editorial group is a set of information that defines the properties of the ads running under a campaign, including the locations the ads will run, the keywords potential customers might search for that could trigger the ads, and the content that is included in the ads. When you set up an editorial group, you typically provide the following information:
-
Categories: A category is the industry type or market in which the advertiser operates.
-
Geo-targets: A geo-target is a geographic area where you want an ad to run.
-
Geo-modifiers and root keywords: Geo-modifiers and root keywords make up the keywords used in an editorial group.
-
Ad content: Ad content includes the ad title, body text, and URLs used in an ad.
