How to Change a Campaign's Status

Depending on the stage a campaign is at, you can change the status to reflect what action is required to take on the campaign and if the campaign is ready to go live.

What you should know:

If you pause a campaign for 30 days, its contract is automatically cancelled.

  • Any time you make changes to a campaign status you should add a note and describe the reason for the change.

  • The exact statuses you have access to and can therefore change depend on your permissions in Geneva and the current campaign status.

Before you begin:

  • You must have a valid Geneva user account with permission to change a campaign’s status.

Procedure:

  1. Search for the campaign with the status you want to change, and then click the campaign ID link for that campaign in the search results list. The Campaign Maintenance page opens, with the Campaign tab active.

  2. Select the new status in the Set to Status box near the bottom of the screen. (Click here for a description of statuses.)

  3. Click Save.
