How to Specify a Service Location

You can specify the geographic areas that the advertiser services, the business hours that they are open, and their acceptable forms of payment. This information can help make other tasks easier, such as specifying geo-targets or setting up the WebVisible Landing Pages product (if this product is part of the contract).

What you should know:

  • The service locations you specify will appear when you set up geo-targets for the campaign’s editorial groups. You can then have Geneva automatically generate geo-targets based on the specified service locations.

Before you begin:

Procedure:

  1. Search for the advertiser you are specifying the service location for, and then click the link for the advertiser in the search results list. (You can skip this step if you are specifying the location at the same time that you create the advertiser.)  The Advertiser Maintenance page opens, displaying a Campaign List section.

  2. Click the Service Locations tab. The Service Locations tab opens with a list of all locations that have been created. You can filter the list if necessary to display only a subset of the list.

  3. Click Add. The page refreshes with a business information form. Required information is identified by an asterisk (*).

  4. Provide the appropriate information.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Click Save.
